Smile The Maloney's are please to announce a new arrival in our family

LOL
No this is not about a baby. Miriam and I bought a 5.0 from Adrian and Beth (emers382).
We are so pleased, less than a year after finding Escape and starting to dream we were able to acquire our trailer a beautiful 5.0 2007.
It happened because we had placed a wanted post on this site.

We could have a first here, if the Maloney's attend Alf's Niagara Rally in September, their Escape will be the first to attend a rally under 3 different owners......hhmmm.

Hi: allenmaloney... You'd be most welcome to attend Niagara Wine Escape 2018. I'm sure I can handle seeing my first camping love again!!! Alf

Allen, sometimes days like today I wish I'd kept "our Escape Hatch." I'm taking hours it seems just to wash "Le Bon Oeuf" the roof alone is no fun, realized my ladder went taller than I had ever gone with it before. Of course otherwise we are happy with our 5.0TA.

It's funny that you are French with an English named trailer, we're English with a French named one.

Hi: emers382... I don't do ladders as well as I used to!!! One thing my DW pointed out to me is the fact that the 5.0TA is able to kneel down, making the roof more accessible. Alf

yes it was a rude awaking washing a 5.0 compared to my old 17. the roof is high never thought of making it kneel down!

I remember when our city got the first kneeling busses. I was still going up stairs two at a time. I thought it was an unnecessary expense. Now, years later, slowly one step at a time, it seems like a very good idea. Same goes for the spa steps for the Escape. Perspectives change. But things sure look good when they are shined up and it would be good to have the 5.0 back at The Falls in September.
Quebec, a vivid memory, left Rita in a gas station while I drove away with the pickup.
I can still see her running through the parking lot after me, and I’m glad the windows were up so I could not hear what she way saying. 45 years ago.
