The Tobiases Have Escaped!

Hello community. Harris & Ellen Tobias from Charlottesville, Virginia, have joined your ranks. We are both retired from the toy business. We are new to Escape but not to fiberglass trailers. We own a 17 ft Casita and enjoy it very much but now that we are grandparents and our grandchildren are close by, we wanted something slightly bigger so we can take them on adventures and make memories they will remember. The 19 ft Escape seems like the perfect choice. This Sunday we will get to see one in person as we are going to Alexandria, Va to see Colorado Rockies Fan's Escape 19.

This forum and its active members have already proven to be most helpful.

Welcome

A big welcome Harris and Ellen
You've made a great choice in a trailer. We're just going through the same process, the journey is a big part of the fun.

Welcome! I think you will love the 19 when you see it in person.

Not really if you are buying a new trailer.

Congrats on the purchase, you two will be happy campers.

Welcome Harris and Ellen

We moved from a 13 foot Gypsy (which we haven't used for 20 years or so) to an Escape 5.0 which we are looking forward to having this summer but maybe not camping until we get our truck. We seriously considered the 19 as well but are getting an meticulously kept used 2007 unit.

We too are looking forward to camping with our grandchildren as well as being snowbirds for a couple of months each year. You no doubt have some great camping spots near you in the mountains. We enjoyed seeing some of your city just after seeing a 5.0 not far from Charlottesville last May. If you'd like to see a 5.0, although you have of course already decided on the 19, captmath would no doubt be glad to show you his.

Beth and Adrian
Anxiously awaiting our used 5.0

Welcome H & E to our little Escape enclave south of 54/40 Latitudes. If you travel about an hour north of Colorado Rocky's unit you can see an Escape 21' which may even confuse more as to which model you will want.

Please Dick. Fill in your profile. Where the heck is Scottsville? What's your county?
