Has to be raised, in the stock photo 1/4 of the tire covers fiberglass, in the op's picture, none of the tire hides fiberglass.

I suspect that's all it is. The photo is relatively wide-angle, so things appear to taper away substantially and not much will look level. In addition, the loft area of the 5.0TA is deliberately significantly tapered, so anything in the front other than the seam or frame is misleading.

Looking at the tires in the wheel wells, the ride height at each axle doesn't look noticeably different, which would be the indication of being out of level.

Our unit has the high lift axle. The nose is a tad high but making an adjustment to the hitch would make it ride too low. ETI preferred a smidgen too high than too low.

I wanted to post a summary of our initial trip but being gone for a few weeks makes catching up at work and home a priority. We had a wonderful trip that took us some 6,275 miles round trip, touching 11 states, and of course British Columbia. In addition to experiencing the beautiful Rockies at 12,000 feet elevation, we saw lots of rolling hills and even prairies only a few feet above sea level. Beautiful wind farms with seemingly countless windmills, trains that stretched for miles, and farming on a massive scale—literally as far as the eye could see in some instances. We truly saw #AmericaTheBeautiful. Our plans include traveling Canada, too, in the coming years.

Our 2017 5.0TA was as marvelous as we had expected allowing us to start making memories right away. During the trip, we had only two small issues: We blew the battery fuse. Tammy & Reese were kind enough to take our call quickly confirming our own troubleshooting. There was a similar post on the forum on this topic that was helpful. We sincerely appreciate their patience. Another example of the stellar customer service we experienced from the staff at ETI. In the last day or so of our trip, we noticed a small dripping leak on the hot water line under the sink. Nothing alarming. Again, there was a forum post with a quick fix remedy that I will make in the coming days.

Our truck, hitch, and RV combo worked flawlessly together for us. Towing for a couple of first-time RV owners was practically stress free. We give this RV high marks for maneuverability. The rear-view camera provided us a higher level of confidence especially changing lanes. When we stopped, we used an RF temperature gun to monitor the truck and RV tires mindful of any differences that might signal a problem. We averaged 14 to 16.5 mpg towing depending on terrain all with the tow mode enabled. Other than different shift points and the engine brake, we didn’t detect any appreciable differences without the tow mode enabled, so out of abundance of caution, we left it engaged even on flat terrain.

Again, we want to thank all on the forum for their informative posts and for responding directly to our inquires while we tailored our build sheet. Lynden, Washington to Yellowstone, to the Grand Tetons, to the Rocky Mountain National Park, and the 3-day trek home dodging Hurricane Harvey’s path were full of adventures and learning the RV life. As you might expect, we are already thinking and planning our next Escape adventure!
