Absolutely!

Keeping the tongue weight down this much, and doing it right like Michael, takes care. For a 19', that probably means at minimum passing up the front storage box and dual 6V batteries as Michael did.

Hitch weight limit, tongue weight fraction, optional equipment, and stuff carried in the trailer are all important factors, even in this example of this one chain of limiting factors (and there are the other limits as well). It is each trailer owner's responsibility to make those decisions to suit their situation.

We towed through the rockies

With 4 of us in a 13' Scamp behind a Model A Ford, 38 Ford and a VW rabbit convert.
The 13 was very easy behind anything and it had plenty of room for us to enjoy any trip. We lived in Utah at the time, my Mother was in Co. and my sisters family in Leadville, Co. When we down sized recently we knew it would work since we had all that experience. You can get by with less space and what you have.
