Agreed Value Insurance policy

Does anyone have a recommendation for an insurance company that will provide an Agreed Value policy for an Escape ? I have previously used Progressive to insure campers, but they will no longer write an Agreed Value policy.

Are you old enough for AARP? Through them I went with Hartford for the cars and trailer, and like the policies I have.

I got a replacement value policy rather than agreed value, to include content replacement. That way, if the trailer needed to be replaced, they'd have ETI price out a new one with the exact same options, add the value of contents, and that would be the settlement amount. Takes care of price fluctuations unlike an agreed value policy.

I did the same for my 19. I went through Good Sam with one of their partner insurance companies.

Thanks for the suggestions. I will take a closer look at replacement value policies. My only concern would be how well that will work in the event of a total loss since the ordering cycle for an Escape is quite long. My understanding with some insurance companies is that they will initially pay out the Actual cash value (Replacement minus depreciation). Then, once you have taken possession of the Replacement, pay out the difference between your actual cost minus what they have already paid out, up to the limit of the policy.

Does anyone know of an insurance company that will pay out the full replacement cost prior to you taking possession of the replacement camper ?

With my Good Sam/Progressive policy, the terms are that they will contact ETI and have them price out a new one with the exact same options. Whether it takes 9 months to build and take possession or not, that's the price-- because of actual replacement cost coverage.

By the way it did jack up the premium considerably-- mine is about $49 a month.
