This was supposed to be "cladding", of course. It's too late for me to edit the original post.

Thanks. Thought it was abbreviation for an insurance company. Mis-read.

Baglo, who do you go through for insurance? I live in the lower mainland too and would like to have the replacement cost option too but don't know who offers it for such a good rate.

The insurance company is Aviva through HUB International Insurance Brokers.
They are in Chilliwack ( ETI sent me to them ).
604 792-4116
However, I sent a member who lives in Cloverdale ( I think ) and he was not able to get the same rate. Worth a call though.
Also, I went to a broker in North Van who is an Aviva agent and they don't sell their RV insurance, so I just renew by phone.
Also, I see you have a 2007. I started my insurance in 2008 with a brand new trailer. I expect that I won't be able to get full replacement at some point as the trailer ages.

Thanks baglo, makes sense. We had replacement cost on our powerboat when we bought it five years old, but after it was 20 years old, were understandably not able to get it.

lorrie---we got ours through Aviva in Maple Ridge and it is more than Glen's.This is our second year with them and our trailer is a 2008 model and we bought it used.
But there is a new Hub Aviva place where Bread Garden used to be in the Saveon/Chapters mall by Coquitlam Center..

We got the same discount with State Farm. Without a metal roof, the price was about 20% less. This was a plus and speaks of the fiberglass roof being better than metal.

I just got a quote for Aviva coverage through Park Insurance in Burnaby. Full replacement coverage is only available until the trailer is 10 years old.

Quote for Actual Cash Value (ACV) replacement coverage (dependent on declared value) was $285 per year with $250 deductible and an additional $2 million liability. The Guaranteed Replacement Cost (GRC) coverage with same deductibles is $446. I need to look into the collision deductible, personal effects coverage and a fibreglass discount - thanks everyone for that info.

I also learned that under new ICBC policy they are no longer providing liability coverage for RV's when they are parked. Insurance brokers are now being advised to offer additional liability insurance in the event that someone is injured while using your RV at a campground, etc. They offered me an umbrella liability policy attached to my house insurance that would provide the additional coverage to vehicles, RV's, boats, etc. This could be a cost savings as it combines your liability coverage under an umbrella and could allow you to reduce your ICBC coverage to the minimum $1 million - more investigation required.
