Before posting what you pay, you need to post exactly what your coverage is.
"Full coverage" with a $20,000 deductible (for instance ) is no bargain, no matter how cheap.
My insurance includes trip interruption ( pays for hotels etc ), covers $5,000 in personal effects and is guaranteed replacement with a low deductible.
Should also note that how much you pay may also be dependent on your credit rating and where you live.
+1, Glenn. Unless the person lives next door to you (or more appropriately stores their trailer next door to you, It is very difficult to compare insurance coverage.

Pat, I think I'll have to check this out. Also I would like to give USAA a shot at all of my other insurance. Especially on my home owners as I'm feeling like I,m being stiffed. They say if you have been with a company for a long time, they know you are not likely to switch so they raise your premiums each year. I am beginning to feel like that is the case here. What angered me today is that State Farm would not offer a discount for multiple policies. And I had to vent. Loren

We had USAA for everything and was mostly happy with the service. When we went to add our new 5.0TA to the policy, I felt the quote was way to high. Ended up stopping at the local independent agent and moved all of our insurance over to Safeco, saving a considerable amount of money on all of our policies. And that included adding an umbrella policy.

Your criticisms are valid Glenn. Way too many factors to compare apples to apples.

Ours:
Full replacement cost coverage for 5 years
Internal contents replacement up to $7500
Trip interruption insurance pays up to $250 a day
Roadside assistance
$500 deductible

All that being said, it's San Antonio, which is notorious for having much higher rates for anything you insure, but especially a vehicle. Try getting $100 a year insurance here. Not going to happen.
