Equalizer Hitch

We have a ProSeries V5 Equalizer Hitch with 600# spring bars that we no longer need. We used this hitch to tow our 19' Escape which we no longer own. If anyone in the Greater Vancouver area needs a hitch, we would be happy to let ours go for $150. Interested - send me a message.

Good deal for anyone with a trailer on order. Even if you think you don't need one, at that price you can try it out. Personally I find it works so well I'm glad I have one.

Hey Ron
Thanks for the endorsement. We towed our 19 with and without the equalizer and found the overall ride with the equalizers to be quite a bit better.

Just a suggestion...

It would be better to describe this type of hitch system by one of the normal generic terms "weight-distribution" system or "weight-distributing hitch". "Equal-i-zer" is a brand name (and the system offered for sale is not that brand), and none of these devices really equalize anything.

Pro Series™ Round Bar weight distribution systems
(this is presumably the "550 pound" 49901, but without the sway control device which is currently included)
By the way, "V5" refers to one of the towing equipment standards it meets - it's not part of the model name. Essentially all towing equipment sold in North America meets V5, which is Vehicle Equipment Safety Commission standard VESA-5.

Agree Brian, it took a while to figure out the folks weren't talking about a real Equalizer, which is an excellent WDH.

Hitch is sold. A thousand apologies for all the feathers I ruffled for mistakenly calling my round bar weight distribution hitch an "Equalizer".

Somebody got a good deal.
Don't worry about the ruffled feathers.
