Thanks for the explanation Brian. That makes sense. I was beginning to wonder why suburban was selling glass lid, but didn't seem to sell a matching stove. I didn't know the glass lid was also a tub for the stove to sit it.
Thanks again
Sean

Hi Walt,

We're working to finalize our build sheet on a 19' in the next month and are considering going with the flush mount. Do you still have these available and are they already at the ETI facility? I'm still confirming with ETI that these exact models will work for the 19' (seems from examples they will) and with the Mrs that this is what she wants.

Best,
-Randy

Does anyone know what the cut out dimensions are for the tub with the flush mount glass cover. All the info I seem to get shows the cut out dimensions for the stove and the glass top cover as being the same. For the SDN2 it shows Width 16 3/8" Depth as 11 5/8" and it needs 3 1/8" for height. When I look at the flush mount cover it is exactly the same. I would think the tub with cover would have to be marginally bigger than the stove

Sean: The second Amazon customer review (down near the bottom) at the link below has the info and an official attached document for the SDN2 which is very hard to come by on the internet apparently.

Thanks Rubicon
The dimensions for the cover are really hard to come by. Impossible on the Suburban website.
Ciao

If anyone is interested, eBay currently has a Dometic 2-burner stovetop up for auction. There's two of them, both are listed as slightly damaged but including the glass top. Buy it now price is $152.99, free shipping from a surplus dealer in Indiana.

go to ebay and search for: RV NEW DOMETIC PROPANE BUILT-IN COOKTOP - STAINLESS STEEL - #427-5
