2007 Escape 17B For Sale

For Sale - 2007 Escape 17B Trailer - $20,500 CDN (about $15,500 US)

This trailer is in great condition and has seen countless upgrades for the past four years since I bought it. Features include:

- New 10 foot awning 2018 (cannister)
- New complete brake assemblies 2018 & bearings repacked
- Dual propane
- Quick connect propane connection
- Rear exterior hatch (right side)
- Window over sink
- External fiberglass storage box
- Exterior shower
- Sliding screen door
- Fold-away entry step (upgrade from original one)
- Microwave
- Two shelves in closet
- All lights upgraded to LED
- Bike rack ready
- All new interior blinds except for one
- USB charging ports (3)
- New stainless steel sink and tap
- Good tires, 12V battery (2015) and repainted rims
- Portable 40W solar panel
- New battery box
- No stripes (they were very faded and dull). Gives new buyer the option of either leaving it as is or get new stripes of your color of choice.
- Two-way fridge (propane and AC)
- Two burner stove and stove top cover
- Propane hot water heater
- Furnace
- Sleeps 3 to 4 people
- Table for 4 and table for 2

I'm ready to upgrade to a newer trailer. My health is such that I need a permanent bed. I am in touch with a potential seller or will place an order for a new one from ETI. Have loved this trailer but it's now time to move on and up.

Actually... that's MilwaukIE (ie), near Portland, OR. I've been to Shuswap Lake a couple of times, it's beautiful up there!!! Hmmm... road trip?

Oops, my apologies
It is a beautiful part of the world indeed.
We're in the middle of a serious hot and smoky spell at the moment. Apparently, it's supposed to ease off starting Friday.
A road trip would be a great idea!
I don't have free calls to the US, only to Canada. Would you like to talk? My number is two five zero eight three two oh six oh one!.

Well, with creativity! Lol!
No seriously, it sleeps three people. A fourth person would have to be on a bunk above the third person. But I don't have the bunk as part of my trailer. Perhaps it can be retrofitted.
Feel free to write back.
Good luck.

The bunk is something that had to be ordered at build. Didn't occur to me that I would have two grandchildren some time in the future. Never occurred to me that I would ever loan my trailer to my daughter and her husband.

REDUCED -> CAN $20,500 (or about US $15,600

I will pull this listing off the market in one more week.
If it hasn't sold, I will keep this trailer for myself.
I have too much invested in it to sell it for any lower.
Thanks, Michel

Just get the trailer . 17 are the #1 you don't need a V 8 to tow it. and sleeping on the floor is no problem... Just do it.

One week is not a long time to have a trailer on the market. Hang in there. Have you had any nibbles at that price?

Hi Michel:

For what’s it worth category. We are also in the process of selling a trailer.

We have had numerous inquiries, several people wanting to trade, several that wanted parts off the trailer, one scammer, but unfortunately no serious buyers with cash in hand. Obviously, the prime time to sell a camper is early Spring. I have always personally believed that if a camper isn’t sold within a week or so, then it’s not priced accordingly. Just my opinion.

Be patient, there is a buyer out there (at least that’s what I keep telling myself).

You are asking a very fair price for this trailer! Especially in such excellent condition and with so many upgrades. Be patient. It’s worth more than you are asking.

The best time is in the spring - pre-camp season. In the fall the buyer is thinking storage.
Maybe wait till next spring.

I really appreciate all your supportive comments. I'm not known to be a very patient man. Once I set my sights on something, I want to see it happen.
It's a bit frustrating to deal with people who are always trying to bargain the price down, even before knowing anything about it or before having seen it. $20,500 is not cheap I know. But that's what it's worth to me. Thanks

I understand your frustration; however, I echo some of the suggestions. If no one is willing to pay your asking price now, wait until Spring. We noticed a definite uptick of activity in the Spring and that's why we waited until then to offer up our 19'.

Hello,
I would like to lets say defend some of the future Escape owners since I was just one of them but we found what we were looking for.
As we all know these do not come up for sale everyday and because of that many people will travel quite some distance to find the one they are looking for. That being said they also have a budget price in mind and before they travel any distance I'm sure they need to see what the best price is. Trust me in many cases its just as awkward to have to ask that question as it is to answer it especially when you are doing this site unseen.
If your price is FIRM I suggest you put that in your ad and even go that extra step, FIRM MEANS FIRM, I will not sell for one penny less all over the ad, see if that helps.

Good luck with your sale,

Steve

Hi,
Thanks for the enquiry.
Yes, my trailer is still for sale.
Maybe not for long as I am in touch with a possible buyer.
Where are you located?
Thanks and good luck
