This looks like a real gem! Permanent bed, dinette and very well kept. 15 fans, there are very few of these.

Hello - I am brand new to looking at Escapes and like what I have read so far. A couple of questions about your Escape if that is ok: (1) likes and dislikes about it (2) does it have a bathroom/shower? (3) AC (4) heat? Did you buy it new? Have it delivered?

Many thanks, Diane

If you check out the photos they will answer your equipment questions. You'll notice no AC unit on the roof. All Escapes come with a heater, and you can see that as well in the interior photos. An Escape "A" model (15A in this case) means there is no bathroom. "B" model means bathroom.

In the A models you sacrifice a bathroom but gain more interior space like a bigger kitchen and two seating areas. The stock trailer comes with a dinette that you convert into a bed. In this trailer's case, the larger dinette is built as a permanent bed instead, and since it's an A model, the kitchen is in the middle and you gain a small dinette in the front. Notice the permanent bed and the underbed storage in the photos.

Thanks, rbryan4 for the above clarifications. The "Escape" world can be a bit confusing at first for all of us.

Dan and I can think of NO downsides to owning an Escape. We're converts from tent camping and Cozy seems like a palace in comparison, especially when it's raining or cold. We had no experience with trailer plumbing systems and wanted to keep life simple so we opted for no bathroom or hot water tank. It's a luxury to have running (cold) water from the faucet and a sink for drainage. We heat a kettle of hot water as needed. Vermont is too lovely to leave in the summer so we camp mostly in the off seasons, so opted for no air conditioning. The extra insulation and Maxi Fan keep us cool. Our solar panel allows us to charge our 2 batteries and enjoy state and national parks where there are no plug in options. We've been escaping part of winter by going south in March and April and this trailer pulls easily behind our RAV4. On cold mornings the propane furnace provides plenty of heat, and we use a small cube heater if hooked up to electric service.
We couldn't get the time off from work to travel to BC to pick up Cozy so had her delivered. Such excitement when she arrived!
Liking this lifestyle so much and feeling more confident in towing and handling trailer systems, we're moving up to a 19ft Escape for longer road trips. Now retired, we'll drive out to Chilliwack next year and finally meet the folks behind these great trailers.
