This reward winning trailer was built in Chilliwack British Columbia, and cost $31,040CDN. It is fully loaded with all you need for a comfortable RV experience. We picked it up in Chilliwack in Sept 2012 and proceeded to tour the western and southern United States over the next 6 months. We received nothing but praise and raves from other RVer's when we stayed at RV parks from Washington State to Key West Florida.
We towed this 2620lb dry weight unit with our brand new 2012 Nissan Frontier pick-up with no problems, crossing the Rockies ,deserts and, grasslands with ease. Our gas mileage averaged 24 to 26 miles per CDN gallon.( I had a conversion table
and our overnight park fees never exceeded 25-30 USD.
My wife and I have just bought a house on the Trent- Severn Canal and are going to use the money from the sale of the Escape 5.0 to buy a pontoon boat to explore that interesting and historical waterway with our grandchildren.
We are however still located just west of Kingston Ontario, very close to Lake Ontario in the village of Bath. We would willingly take the Escape 5.0 to a mutually convenient meeting location nearer the buyers home or to a border crossing between New York State and Ontario or Quebec.
