2014 Escape 19 for sale

Up for adoption: 2014 Escape 19 with Impulse Blue graphics

Currently located in scenic Coarsegold, CA

This a sad, but exciting day for me. After 3 years of many fun adventures in my Escape 19, due to health issues, itís time to say goodbye to her.

Weíve had more fun in is RV than any other vehicle in my life. The fiberglass community is by far the best group of campers there is. After owning a Casita 17í FD for a year, then my 19 for 3 years, itís been a part of my life Iíll never forget.

For those at have never owned an Escape, the experience is a privilege. Top quality, an outstanding company and being a part of the best campers anywhere.

The 19 is my personal favorite. The most functional floor plan in my humble opinion. Big enough to keep you very comfortable, but small enough to get into just about any campground there is. Iíve fitted into an 18í spot. With windows in the front and back, tandem axles itís a spacious floor plan thatís hard to beat.

Iím the only owner of this 19 and had it customized to my preferences and needs at the time in 2014.

Below is a custom list of options from the factory:
A/C / Propane hot water tank
3 burner stainless steel stove and range hood
6.7 cubic foot fridge
Additional window over kitchen sink
11,000 BTU Dometic A/C
Digital thermostat
bike rack ready
Cot ready
Cabinet door at end of dinette
LED interior light package
2 drawers under wardrobe
Two drawers moved under sink to the left to make room for microwave
Dual 6 volt deep cycle RV batteries - 244 Amp Hours. (Load and field tested)
Exterior propane quick disconnect with 12í hose
Extra insulation and thermal (dual) pane windows
Microwave
2 shelves in wardrobe. (Converted to pantry)
Opening window in bathroom
Stainless steel sink and chrome faucet
Stainless steel cooktop cover
Exterior fiberglass storage box
Additional light over storage box
TV ready with 120V outlet
Wall mount extendable TV arm
4 way U-Shaped dinette (Multipurpose as a: couch, lounge, table and bed)

The bearings were repacked and brakes checked and adjusted last year.

High strength steel wide feet added to stabilizers

Upgraded to a set of 15Ē black and chrome wheels at really set this 19 apart from the others.

Perfect? No. I didnít buy this Escape to sit in storage. It has a few small imperfections, but any RV usually does. It has a ding in the bathroom door where I stumbled in the dark (can you see it?). The screen door has a rip in it. A small scratch on the left rear.

No leaks anywhere! Ever! One of the many beauties of a molded fiberglass RV.

Cleaned up. 1.5 tanks of propane and ready for the next owner to love this 19 as much as I have. Also have some accessories that I can include with the purchase if the new owner is interested.

Asking $26,999

(2 pics end up in a sideways orientation. Won't upload correctly. Sorry)

No it didn't. You need to have at least 10 posts on the forum to be considered a "trusted" member. It's to prevent spammers. Sorry, that's the way it works. Mark will get back to you when he sees your post.

Mark,
I know you challenged everyone with your ambitious life style, the doctors are still scratching their heads. Sorry to hear you will have to part with your Escape, someone will have a nice trailer to carry on your attitude.

The 4Runner is probably one of the top five most frequently mentioned tow vehicles with Escape trailers. I have used one with my 19 and it was an excellent tow.

With that said, not all 4Runners are created equal. The engine size is not relevant, nor the transmission: what is important is if it has the tow package. It can be added later on but it is not the same as the factory installed. As important is how you load the vehicle, there are limits as to the number of people, cargo and accessories that you can have on your 4Runner and still safely stay in the specifications. If you are considering any trailer as a tow you should be familiar with a series of specifications that go under the initials of GVWR, and GCWR plus several more.

I have the 2016 4Runner with a tow package. Toyota lists the tow capacity of 5000 lbs. The 2017 model lists the GVWR as 6100 lb and does not list the GCWR. One of the reasons I purchased it is to tow an RV so I can travel comfortably.

My research on RVs lead me to the Escape 19' as the best bet for me. I have also been looking at the Lance 1865 with a slide out which I like (I can get a little claustrophobic at times but it's only minor. I like the resale value of the Escape and that it seems to need so much less upkeep.

I have been trying to find a trailer to rent for a day to test it for towing but there are none on the central coast. I will travel to get the opportunity and am anxious buy my first trailer to go RVing.

I could provide a Good Home

Mark,
I am unable to PM you as I did not realize that I needed to post 10 times before it would work. I have been reading posts on this site for months but so many of the trailers are out of my driving range before they are snatched up.
Your trailer has the specs I am looking for and would love to see it soon. I am in Visalia. Could you please email me your contact info at Visalia.Giant at gmail dot com
PS Thanks for posting your info here first before other listings.
