2016 Classic Escape 19 ft. in Dallas $25,000
With sadness I must sell our Escape trailer. Built in November 2016, it was one of the last of the Classics produced. - Excellent condition
- Kept in covered storage
- 2-way hot water tank
- upgraded Group 29 battery
- Extra insulation and thermal windows
- 1 LED reading lamp
- Air conditioner
- Winterizing T-valve
- Added window over sink
- Exterior propane quick connect with 12 ft. hose/adapter
- Microwave
Here are recent photos of exterior and interior, plus 2 of the trailer in its natural environment, camping at Yellowstone:

Hello, Interested in your home on wheels .
Does it have the exterior shower option by chance?
When you say 'one of the last Classics produced' can I ask what you mean? I know some info on Escapes because I have a Casita now but do not know what you mean?
Any other of the options maybe you did not list?
Thanks,
Steve

Steve, they changed the molds in 2016. The newer 2nd generation Escapes have vertical sides, a flat entry door, an armless case awning, and several other changes. The 1st generation Escapes with the beveled sides and the aircraft style narrower door are sometimes called "classic".
The first photo is my "classic" 19, built in 2015. The second is the 2nd gen 19 on the Escape website. Note the differences on the sides.

My favorite promise
In meetings I’d sometimes start down the rabbit hole, I’d notice that I was losing my audience. In a desperate attempt to retain their interest I’d stop and say “ Hey, I’m going somewhere with this!”

Thanks for the info Dave, I wonder why they decided to change the mold and would anyone see a reason in the Classic style and new one?
Also were there any other options it had you did not list?
THANKS and have an excellent day,
Steve

Hi: stratos175... FAIK it was to be able to use a standard RV exterior door. That would also allow use of a different dimension refer which wouldn't fit through the aircraft style doors. Alf

Hi Steve, it's Robert not Dave.
Yes, there are several changes not mentioned, but the big ones were the vertical sides, wider flat door, and case awning. There are many threads on the 2nd gen Escape redesign.

Hi,
No exterior shower. I believe I found all the options that I originally ordered on the trailer. We've only stayed in campgrounds that had showers, so we didn't even use the interior shower in the camper. Like everybody, I picked up some other items along the way that I thought were useful -- folding table, Ranger stove, torque wrench, etc.

I'm interested in purchasing your camper. is it still for sale?
What is the interior height of the classic. I've looked at a couple of new 19 ft Escapes in campgrounds. I'm 6'3" and just fit in the new version (without shoes.)

Hi, I have a buyer but if it falls through I will let you know.
Just an FYI:
The specs on the 19’ classic state 6’5” interior headroom. I think where the AC is, is probably a couple inches shorter. Since I am only 6’1” I had no problem. You are wise to check — some trailers are pretty short!

Greg,
Thank you for your reply. I am just a little too tall for most campers. If your sale falls through please contact me.
