Thanks for responding to my question

Hi Karen,

Thanks for the reply. I cliked and sent the Escape folks an inquiry for the new 21. How much do you know about the 21. I would love to correspond with some folks who have one and find out as much as I can about the unit.

Thanks again for your help and amicable reply to my query.

Would be interesting to know if there are any full timers traveling in the new 21'; esp. couples. Thanks.

Mark,
The Escape 21 is a new model, it was first produced just last month, my unit will be #12 of the build, I believe. The point being, no one has had their unit more than 30-45 days. On the other hand, welcome to Escape land, there is a wealth of info here.

To whom?

Sorry Jim,

The question was posed to the Escape folks at the factory. I should have made that clearer.

Hi: Mark Ittleman... Fiberglass mfg's seldom advertise or attend RV shows. They're to busy building quality trailers. Happy trailer owners are their best sales people, IMHO, and Escape has a lot of 'em. Alf

The factory will however provide the names and phone numbers of owners in your area that are willing to let you look them over if that's your intention. Give em a call or drop an email to get the names.

Thanks escape artist and mate! Yes, I can believe if you have a great product you will not need to spend tons of money on advertising and expensive shows.

Mark, it might be a good price for the 21, but especially if you're considering full timing you want to be really careful about making a decision as to which trailer would work for you as well as which options you'd need as a full timer. When you're on this site for awhile and/or go through the older threads you'll see that some of us took a while -- a year or more -- to decide to go ahead. By the time my husband and I put the deposit down on a 19 we were pretty familiar with the layouts, the options , etc., but then I'd been glued to the forum for nearly a year.

Thanks Ruthe,

We have been looking for over a year, and have gone through just about everything out there. We looked at airstreams, motorhomes, vans, etc. It's been a real roller coaster ride. I have noted that many take up to a year or more before coming up with the best plan.....We are slated to leave in April. Hope we can correspond further.....Are you a full timer?

Mark, unless you buy used, someone gives up their production completion date or you're fortunate to buy one like I posted in the first post of this thread.... you may need to wait a while for an Escape! This is from the production schedule in the past three minutes:

I just checked the Escape production schedule, next available 21' slot opening is not until next September, almost a year from now. That is another reason to jump on an availability next month, you will not be camping again for another whole camping season, 2015 if you take next September's slot.
