Oops! You're right. The Tacoma V-6 would pull the 5.0 easily. From what I've read, the new Tundra has bed rails that are too tall to accommodate the Escape.

Sue... With the low Canadian dollar your price of 26000 US converts it to over 33000 Can. funds.
Is that 26000 firm?

Anyone know what year this is from? I believe there were some subtle changes to the 5.0 over the years....

There probably were differences, but I've found mistakes when there's only one. For instance, the brochure for the 5.0TA says it has scissor stabilizers. They're not, they're BAL. Huge difference IMHO. And, I'm glad they're not scissor style! YMMV

BAL makes both scissors and single-leg jacks. I, too, prefer the single-leg design; that's what Escapes normally have, although I'm not sure that they always did.

I hve two or three copies of the 5.0 manual, but I can't readily get at them right now, and I'm not sure that any clearly identify the year.
