Re: Sold 2009 Escape 17FT Plan "B"

Here's an update on our situation..We saw a 19ft Airstream Bambi when we went out to Vegas to visit our friends, and Liana basically fell in love with the separate shower and the general layout... So after a great debate and getting over 40% off the TT we decided to purchase it.. The timing was too good to pass up, the dealer took the write-off from their cost and we got a new TT for less than a price of a used one. This, plus the idea we get it immediately, really sealed the deal.

I still believe in the Escape product and will continue to support both them & this forum. I truly can say that the Escape is a well built, trouble free trailer and will promote the product and speak of it's virtues.

I'm still an Escapee, just using a different "jailbreak" vehicle ..

Hope everyone understands..

A man's gotta do, what a man's gotta do, especially if his woman tells him to.

I can only hope that you do continue to maintain this forum. I have found it refreshing not to be on the moderators list for inappropriate posts, according to the moderators. Here we only have one and he hasn't flagged any of my posts so far, or anything else. Great bunch of people who appreciate the forum.

Thanks again and never say goodbye.

And, Jeff,

Re: Sold 2009 Escape 17FT Plan "B"

Congrats on your purchase Jeff.
We had looked at Airstream too, it sounds like you got a smokin' deal.

There is no doubt about a Airstream's quality. What deterred us though in the Bambi's (which is what we would have gone for) other than the sticker price, was the weight of the units and the small bed size. We did not want to have to buy a V8 vehicle just for the sake of a trailer, and our current trailer has a 47" bed, and we really wanted something at least 6" wider.

We also wanted the smallest functional bath possible to save floor space, as though a requirement, we only use the bathroom in the trailer a small portion of the time, either opting for a tree (just me though), or a walk to the facilities at the campground.

But, this just goes to show that everyone has different wants, needs and desires is not the same. This is a good thing.

Re: Sold 2009 Escape 17FT Plan "B"

Well wishes to you both! If you ever get pangs to see an/ and Escape come my way after the end of May. The "Suite Escape" should be at her new home in the sunny Sacramento valley by then. Thanks again so much for the forum and do keep us posted on your ventures.
