That's it Dave - you've gone to the dark side. [emoji1]

Seriously though folks, if you're thinking of a 19, you won't find a better maintained one than this.

Some lucky person is gonna get a beautiful 19. And as Robert said, you ain't gonna find one that has been more loved and pampered and at such a fair price.

Dave and Rita, now you're gonna have that sad moment soon of watching it drive off down the road like we had with our 17. But I imagine that like our 17, your 19 will be going to a great new home.

When buying a home, most people want to know if it's "move in ready." That's the best description of this Escape.

We have camped with Dave and Rita, and I would trust that every item on their trailer is in as good or better condition than new. It has also been fortunate that this Escape has been stored indoors out of the weather.

Hi Dave,
I'm very interested in your trailer. May I ask:
Is it still available? If so I would like to drive down and see it.
Where in Iowa? I live in Western WI
What is your two vehicle?
I currently have a Casita 17 and tow with a Toyota Highlander.

If we didn't already have our 19 I'd be drivin' to Iowa with my checkbook right now.

When do we get details on the 21?!?

The beginning? http://www.escapeforum.org/forums/f3...son-10749.html

Was the deal planned at the rally? Only Jack and Dave know for sure! I do know there was alcohol a plenty around the campfire if the deal needed lubrication....

Defense heck, camping is what it's all about! Glad you are out there!

Besides, no possible way we can let an IowaDave started thread not have significant thread drift - would be nearly sacrilegious !

19 for sale

We've had responses to our post and will report results as they unfold. There are certain things you can't have too much of, however one nice Escape is probably enough for anyone. After the rally at Osoyoos we stopped over in Chilliwack to get a power vent installed in the bathroom of the 19. Those retrofit jobs take time. So after relaxing on the waiting area couch for a couple hours, I succumbed to the temptation to tour the four Escapes on display at the "suggestion" of my bride of 47 years. Even tried the bed in the 21 ( sorry we shocked the other customers). Big enough for me and Jake and oh yeah,Rita too.
Couldn't get the spaciousness of the 21'out of our minds and when Jack and Nancy's 21, which we knew well, came up for sale we called Jack and pulled the trigger. Bad choice of words as we were in South Chicago at the time Jack posted. And the rest as they say is history. So the next chapter in our great escape begins. We will see many of you folks at rallies this fall and look forward to conversation, idea sharing, and refreshing libations.
All the best and thanks again.

Where did you get the free standing table? Better than the fixed mount

I agree, I like a free standing table. Is that an option if one chooses during build?

P.s. Nice garage set up and units! I'm so jelly! I'm still patiently waiting on my time to either order new or find a 5.0TA or 21' used closer to this side of town. One day it will come! One day. [emoji57][emoji37][emoji846]

In post number 17 under the u shaped dinette table options my wife Rita (refs) details obtaining the snap 2 frame. We picked up our on the way through Elkhart coming back from camping in Ohio. Then I got some 23/32 plywood and ordered matching Formica and my brother and I built the table. It has worked out real well and I wouldn't be surprised if I get another frame for the 21. Can't have too many options.
Thanks for the nice comments from you and from Shark8, I appreciate it.
