SOLD 2012 Escape 19' for sale $31,500 includes delivery
For Sale- 2012 Escape 19’ fiberglass trailer with free delivery*
Due to the slow economy I have decided to sell my almost new 19’ Escape in order to make room for a new 21’ Escape. I’m hoping to take delivery sometime in December, 2013 and must make room for the new unit.
The 19‘Escape trailer comes with free delivery up to *1000 miles from York, Pa being included in the price.
When ordering this Escape I availed myself with just about every available option offered then in July 2012 and since then I have made some more modifications. The trailer has been set up for winter use and options ordered accordingly. I have a new Yamaha 2000 watt generator available for another $500. The a/c has been tested and will operate off this generator.
Here is a list of factory options included:
Coleman Polar Cub 9200 btu air conditioning with 5000 watt heat strip
2 additional opening windows- kitchen and bath (first one)
3 burner stainless steel stove
bike rack option
aluminum rims (4)
cot ready option
cabinet door on dinette
6” thick dinette cushion option
Group 29 battery with 130 a/h
95 watt solar package
front storage locker
extra plywood installed inside walls for mounting items
thermal windows and extra insulation
spray foam and 12v heat pads underneath on fresh and grey tanks
led interior lights
led exterior lights with an additional set added
microwave
detachable power cord
screen room
stainless steel sink and faucet
tv and cable ready package
3 x12v outlets, 1 extra 120v outlet
extra fold up shelf in bedroom
digital furnace thermostat
front/side/porch lights wired together
The trailer includes all the standard Escape 19 options including Carefree awning, hot water heater, marine bath, low draw Atwood Everest furnace, refrigerator, Maxx Fan, dual propane tanks, front window protector, magic sliding table, sliding screen door, full rear queen bed and front dinette double bed with cot option for children. With 8 windows of which 6 are opening,
we have had to only use the a/c once as the MaxxFann and extra insulation keeps the unit really cool in the summer. In the winter the floor remains warm due to the spray foam underneath and with the thermal windows and extra insulation you will remain toasty down to -0-.
The following additions have been made since August 2012:
Progressive Industries 30 amp EMS with remote
cherry floating floor
teak bath floor
under bed led lighting
battery led lights in cabinet areas
2 led wall sconces added to bed area
replaced stock Maxx Fann cover with smoke lens
Jensen am/fm/ipod stereo weather radio
Jensen 19’ 12v LED HD TV
rear cargo rack
dual setting 500/1000w electric heater installed
window gutters
clock and extra shelves and magazine rack installed
cedar lined closet with lights and shelves
exterior step light
special night time lighting
led’s on water heater, tank heater, and main battery cut off switches
marine bed matting for winter use
In addition included is a custom made cover
With a current retail value of $36,500 (inc. delivery to the states) I’m selling the unit with these extras and factory options and free delivery for $31,500. There is one more year plus remaining on the factory warranty.
It has been washed and waxed this Spring.
I have used the unit approximately half dozen trips. I have not yet had to refill any of the propane tanks, this shows the small amount of time it has been used. This unit is immaculate inside and outside and needs nothing added. I’m hoping to take delivery of the new 21’ sometime in December.

Jim, good luck selling your 19! I've been watching the threads on the new 21' and have my own opinions on the layout but wanted to know why you are making the move? What is it about the 21' that is compelling you give up your new 19'??

Four reasons mainly, one is introductory pricing makes it similar to the 19', two there is a delivery of one to a prospective owner who looked at mine and is within 90 miles so delivery is reduced and three I like the added drawers and storage. I also like the n/s bed and kitchen space. Finally, there is -0- left to change on my 19'!!
If it sells then 2 people will be happy, if it doesn't, then I'm still happy. Win/win.

I knew it Jim....
Now if I can get money to buy your rig, those interest rates for private sellers are higher vs. a dealer, we dealt with that when we bought our casita. If escape could act as the seller I might be able to get Brenda to go for it....as we then sell our Casita.....hmmmm.
Yours is a beauty!
Don

Have to wait and see, like xmas, the anticipation is half the fun!!! The bath floor is definite, have to purchase new tv and radio set up, otherwise it is all new.

Thanks Jim,
For potential buyers, my husband and I have been inside his 19' and the workmanship is excellent and interior is pristine.

According to the production calendar there are six 21s on order including yours. (Where does the first one go?) As you seem to be the only one on the forum with one on order, it will be very, very interesting to see your thinking as you go through the option process and we get to see the finished product. Best wishes on selling the 19 and congratulations on the 21!

It is going to be tricky but interesting, I'll update my status as soon as Escape opens tomorrow.
