Consider purchasing your Escape 5

I think this is the right way to contact you. Gdb190. Live in Michigan and would like to see to consider purchasing. What size truck do you use to tow. How big is the bathroom

Just in case you haven't seen it, In the 'Files' section, there is a Classic 5.0 brochure you can look at or download.

Hi Gdb190

I towed with a 2015 Ram 1500 Tradesman. It did just fine with a tow capacity of 6900 lbs. I actually didn't even know it was there. Rails are easily obtained for the hitch I am including with the trailer. I added an aftermarket brake controller. I just sold the truck today and purchased a 2017 Ram so I have no way to tow now as there are no rails in the bed as of yet. The bathroom is very usable by me... 6' and 235 lbs. it's a full wet bath. Let me know if you can access my drop box for lots of pictures including the bathroom. (See previous entries for the link).

Todd

Send me a Private Message and I will provide my cell number. I don't want to make that public.

Todd,
Thanks so much for showing us your Escape yesterday. It's a beautiful camper!
If only I could convince myself to give up the shell and that extra carrying capacity we are currently used to with our truck and give up taking our canoe/kayaks with us on trips, then we would jump at this opportunity.
Someone is going to get a beautiful unit! (Might even be us if I change my mind about a fifth wheel soon enough)

Radar1: Can't help you on losing the truck cap but you will have much more storage in the 5.0 if you are coming from a Scamp 16. As far as taking canoes and kayaks I don't see this as an all or nothing proposition. See pics.

I already have a T-bar that I used on the back of my truck before I added Yakima crossbars over the cab, and hoped I could find a front hitch for my truck to use it on the front, but they don't make one for the 2Wd version of my truck.
Another thing is that it's about time to replace my truck and I may be getting a van instead, which would not work well with a fifth wheel.

Thanks to everyone that was interested in viewing and or purchasing the camper. This camper is now SOLD. She is being turned over to wonderful new owners who will love her as much as I did!
