SOLD: 2014 Escape 19 For Sale

With a heavy heart, I have concluded that I should put my 19' Escape (lovingly named "Eh'gloo") up for sale. I am not doing the retirement travel that I envisioned. In the two years I have owned Eh'gloo, I have made only three camping outings (two three-day and one five-day). I have kept her a storage facility for the past year and a half.

I am asking $26,000 (US). I am posting this on the Escape Forum before any other listing.

Here is a list of Eh'gloo's features and a few photos.

Two-burner stainless stove (turned 90o to enhance counter space)
Stainless steel range hood
6.7cuft Dometic fridge
Dometic air conditioner (11,000 BTU)
MaxxFan ceiling vent
Extra insulation
Thermal windows
Spray foam undercarriage
Opening bathroom window
Opening galley window
Counter extension
Cabinet door at end of bench
Anderson equalizer hitch
Dual 20 lb. propane tanks
Removable 30-amp power cord
Dual 6-volt batteries
Stainless steel sink & chrome faucet
Carefree patio awning
Integrated screen door
Screened windows
Front rock guards
LED porch (starboard-side ) exterior light with interior switch
Exterior LED marker lights
LED brake & signal lights
Emergency exit window
Atwood Hydro-Flame furnace
Suburban gas water heater
Fire extinguisher
Propane gas alarm
Carbon monoxide & smoke detector
Pleated draw-down window shades
12v on-demand water system
LED ceiling & interior lights
Valences
Spectra Red graphics
Dinette floor & benches raised 4 inches (greater visibility out windows & more under-bench storage space).
Spare tire & cover

Upgrades I installed:
Matching Formica in galley
Custom stove cover / serving tray in matching Formica and oak
Custom carpet
LED port-side exterior light
LED range hood light
LED license plate light
Gel-foam mattress pad
30-amp Surge Guard Model 34520 power protection (hardwired)

Miscellaneous items:
Water hoses (city & grey)
Anderson Roll-on levelers
Awning deflappers
Hitch anti-theft locks
Furnace insect screen
Water pressure regulator & gauge
ADCO Tyvek cover
Rhinoflex sewer kit
1/2' drive ratchet & 5 1/2' drive extension (for Anderson hitch adjustments)

Take care & God bless.
Greg

I like the matching wall behind the sink/stove, did you add that or factory option?

Hi Jim,
I added the Formica. I matched the pattern at Home Depot and ordered a full sheet (3' x 8'). I used the remaining material to make a stove cover that also servers as a serving tray, and lined the shelf beneath the sink and the lower cabinets.

Hi Denise,
Thank you for the appreciative comment. The intent was to provide a wall surface in the galley what would be easy to clean over time. It also sets the galley off a bit.

Cool.
by chance do you have the # at Home Depot, I'd like to book mark for future reference, did you cut out the window hole and mount one piece?

Hi Jim,
The Formica number is 3523. It is Matte Giallo Granite. The 96" x 36" sheet cost $39.60.
It is one sheet. I made the cutout for the window and the range hood vent. I then used peel and stick mounding to dress out the seams.

Just a quick update to say that "Eh'gloo" will have a new owner. Tom Vail and I came to an agreement.
God bless and safe travels to all! ;-)
