macman, that ia excatly why i own Toyota trucks now! Got so sick of fixing, fixing, fixing my GMs. finally went with Toyota.they are exspenisve but, you can pay up front or you can pay thru the nose later. The reliability and longevitity is unmatched by the other three. JMO.

Awhile back, prior to purchasing a truck, I was getting the oil changed on my Camry and I asked the owner of the shop about what kind of truck to buy. He said that he wanted to send GM, Chevy, Dodge, etc. Christmas cards thanking for all the business they send to him! The only time he sees Toyotas is for routine maintenance. That synched the decision for me. I have never looked back. The Tundra performs very well with the 5.0TA and I am very pleased. I installed the Anderson Aluminum hitch so that I have the full bed of my truck available when not towing....which will be 90% of the time. Love the hitch and Reace was the one who introduced me to it. Hitch only weighs 30 pounds so it is easy to move in/out of the bed. Hope this helps you.
