It may be helpful if there was any way you could increase the size of your photos.

You're right, sorry about that!!! Was traveling when I took them and have not been able to find the original photos. They are larger on one of my blog posts: My Country Roads | You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream. –– C.S. Lewis, the 12/16/15 post titled "Big, big news . . . "
Thanks for pointing that out!!!

Awwww, thanks Linda. Everything fine. The thing is I rescued a dog in Arizona. She's absolutely awesome and I adore her but she has EXTREME separation anxiety which makes traveling very difficult since I can't even leave her to go grocery shopping, let alone a doctor or dentist appointment. Never even thought about that since had never had a dog before with those issues. We camped in Ohio this summer, an hour from my son's, so I am able to have a puppy sitter when necessary.
Thanks so much for posting! Take good care and will definitely be back on the road again one of these days!!!

Get her a pheromone collar! They work great!
Try crate training her...make it her "happy" place! With time and a lot of patience, she will realize she found her forever home...and learn to trust again! Best wishes!

I'm not a dog owner, so I've not gone through this. I remember seeing on TV a show about a dog that was tearing up the owner's place whenever it was left alone. They were doing some sort of therapy or some such with the dog and it did get lots better. I don't remember the details, other than the complete mess it made of the apartment and blinds.

So, I'm wondering, isn't there some sort of therapy or treatment (anti-anxiety drugs maybe) that would help the dog? As well as taking her on camping trips with you. Just make sure you go to places that you take the dog on walks/hikes with you. That way she's not left alone and won't tear up your trailer.

It's a shame you can't go out in your fairly new trailer and enjoy it because of the dog's situation.

Good luck! It must be quite frustrating, to say the least.

Have been checking out pheromone collars. Had never heard of them. Thanks for the tip!
I've been talking to trainers--really hope I can do this without a crate. Wouldn't be a tragedy if she ate the condo -- it would have been if she ate the Escape!

Yep, I drove up to Cleveland from Arizona for one month last February. I was in the NEXT room and within 10 minutes she had completely torn apart her beautiful dog bed. I am going to work on it but know it will take time. Linda suggested the pheranome collar which sounds good, and I've been researching.

I make it a point to get her out exercising every day (we just got back from the dog park). But I was unable to leave her to even go grocery shopping, no matter how much exercise she had had.

It was tough to make this decision but as joyful as it was traveling before rescuing her, it was not fun when the only place I could seem to take her was WalMart and would have to speed-shop to get in and out as soon as possible.

This is not the end of my traveling days. Will just have to put on hold for a few years. And having to be with my dog 24/7 is not a hardship. She's really an amazing pup and I absolutely love being with her.

Oh, thanks, Marry - that's sweet of you to say! Honestly, I feel like I'm the lucky one in the deal! Other than the separation anxiety, could not imagine a more perfect dog.

New Price

When I bought my 17B last October, I had a ten year plan. With that in mind and because I wanted as much space as possible to do art when indoors, I chose to make the front into a permanent bed (single) and use the rear as my dinette. This worked absolutely great . . . for me. But it is not for everyone. After posting here and Fiberglass RV, received several inquiries. But the permanent bed in front was a deal breaker. I totally get it.

All of the details and photos are in the original post above.

Because of this permanent bed situation, I am reducing the price to $22,000.00.

Please pm me with any questions.

Thanks!

Thanks, Pat. Yes, I think it's an awesome deal for someone. I'm at a campground now in Ohio that closes October 20th so it would be great to sell it before then and the snow starts flying.
