Maybe they will contend by the time we need new batteries.

I hope so and I think so. Battery technology is changing fast, two years is a long time.
I would use the stove top popper but no! My wife likes the microwave stuff better! This could be expensive popcorn.

CPAHarley2008, Do you know why Escape hasn't made the 3" battery shift standard?

Well John...you have educated, enlightened, enthralled, entertained, energized and otherwise enthused this aging Canadian with your introduction of "Letterkenny".
Having travelled and worked across this great nation, and travelled to many corners of yours, I was unaware of this program until your suggestion that this YouTube channel can be used as an educational tool for non-canucks. It has in fact proven an educational tool for me . Hilarious
Thanks for the introduction

I believe the full seasons (there are 8 now?) are available on Crave.TV which is a Canadian subscription service.

I need somebody to translate Letterkenny for me. Not sure if it's geography or age, but I can't follow.

I've only seen the commercials for this show, and based on them I have no intention to ever watch it. Anyone assuming that all Canadians are familiar with what they see in this show is mistaken.

i have an acquaintance who grew up in a small rural town in central Canada and tells me "I went to school with people just like the folks on that show and they talked just like that".
closest *I've* ever been is small town rural New Hampshire, where they have their own dialect and slang.

Yes, and I grew up in small towns in central Canada where those characters would stand out and be ridiculed. People matching this stereotype exist; they're just not typical of Canadians. It's a comedy...
