Breaker Box ?

Learning the 21 electrical system. What is this switch for and when would you use it?

looks like something you added as an option, maybe an inverter? I see your converter and the EMS by Progressive, but the other 2 items are options you had installed.

Thanks CP
The other black box is a transfer switch. The inverter is under the other bench.
So Im wondering what the grey box with breakers is for.

It appears to be a circuit breaker, in about the smallest (grey) panel/box available. As I recall from earlier discussions, in the normal Escape inverter installation the output of the inverter is supplied to the circuits through a small separate breaker panel like this.

Thanks Brian, just watched orientation video and it is a circuit breaker for the inverter.

It is a circuit breaker for the circuit(s) on the transfer switch. (On mine ETI installed 1 circuit for all outlets on the transfer switch - I increased that to 4 circuits, see http://www.escapeforum.org/forums/f8...mods-3279.html.) It looks like you have one double breaker - so you have 2 circuits on the transfer switch.

All the other AC circuits are controlled by breakers in the dirstibution panel.
