Yes, but the State of Charge indication ("% of battery remaining") is a rough estimate based on voltage, and (in at least one of the two controllers which have been installed by Escape) never shows anything between 90% and 100%... anything over 90% just shows as 90% until the charge cycle is complete.

Yep, twice as much weight and volume of battery means twice as much ideal capacity, and for the same rate of discharge larger batteries are more efficient.
