Humans are so weird.
Hi: gbaglo... On our trip to Scamp camp at Shipshewana Ill. I watched a Amish woman in a dress pushing a gas powered lawn mower to cut their grass. Their buggy's all had battery powered lights and their garages all had solar panels to charge them. Almost every household had a phone in a booth at the roadside. That way its ring would not disturb their family time. Alf

Shipshewana

Hi Alf
I like going to Shipshewana because they have a restaurant with a great menu and terrific apple pie. The problem is its proximity to a large Amish furniture store, by the time I pay my tab, Rita and Teresa have vanished. Unfortunately, I know where to find them. Any updates on Niagara Falls, still falling? We’re booked in.

I bought an Amish belt several years ago. It was about $25 and it’s a very nice piece of leather. And if a belt works for three or four years for me, it’s a pretty darn good belt.
Mine came from Bloomfield, Iowa, the guy said. I bought it at a Rondy.
