EMS + Voltage Regulator
I have a Tech Research Corp Voltage regulator and am looking at installing it on the shore side of my EMS. Coming home I had an EMS shutdown. I can't remember if it was hi or low.
My regulator is a auto-transformer that can increase or decrease line voltage a modest amount. I no longer have the manual and can't remember the inc/dec capabilities.
It's a rather bulky unit and weatherproof so I could plug it into the pedestal and then the trailer or install it inside alongside the EMS.
I wouldn't buy one again but since I have this thing, I'm thinking I might as well use it.
Can't decide if it would be worthwhile or not. As I said above, the numbers are modest so it wouldn't be enough to make a difference if the rise/drop was a significant amount.
