Boy, you are filling up your storage with electrical components, a lot of work but nicely done.

Thanks, Jim. I tend to be too picky about stuff and do more than is necessary but as the signature says - "If It Isn’t Perfect, It Isn’t Finished" so onward I march. I'm glad I ordered the U-shape dinette - I would be getting close to being out of room if I had the standard benches.

I hooked up the new Lensun panels to the controller and it works well. I'm looking forward to Quartzite!

Latest thoughts on battery monitor and charge controller

Tom, I'm interested in whether you feel you get significantly more or better info from the Victron 700 vs. the Bluetooth interface and the app.

While I was at it, I cleaned up the wiring routing as AC and DC wiring shouldn't be bundled together.
Tom,
Nice work on the install! Do you have the BMV 700 monitor display to go with the shunt?

THe BMV 700 monitor display came with the shunt - I just haven't installed it in the panel above the fridge yet - I'll wait until I come back from the Javalina Rally in October to pull the fridge out and run the wiring. Right now I have the display setting on the floor under the dinette wrapped in bubble pack - I can read it by lifting the driver side cushion.

I have the bluetooth interface connected to the solar charger.

The 700 with the bluetooth didn't really give much more info than I could get from the display - history graphs was about it.

Connecting the bluetooth to the solar charger allows me to configure it as well as see how well the charger is doing from my phone. Without the bluetooth on the charger, I would have had to buy the MPPT Control display to be able to configure and monitor the solar charger. The bluetooth dongle was cheaper and more versatile.
