We found our hose under the bed of our 21

Do you mean the storage under the bed?

Yes. We added a few items from the factory store to our build sheet (Starter Kit, etc.), and those extra items were placed in the storage under the bed. We forgot about those things during orientation and found them a few days later when we packed and better organized the interior.

Here's the response I got from ETI today regarding the 12' hose they provide with the propane quick connect option:

"The trailer receptacle will have a female quick connect plug. The piece of the hose which connects to the trailer will have a male quick connect while the “appliance” end will have a female end."

I'm therefore assuming that both ends are quick connect, One male end and the other female.

Happy Trails!

I wouldn't make that assumption. Others with an Escape-supplied hose have said that the appliance end is female, but it is an SAE flare, not a quick connect. For example, Hugh:

When dealing with someone who doesn't use (and may not know) specific technical terms, a photo can make all the difference.

Thanks Paulw for the pic. Thanks Brian B-P... You are correct. I shouldn't assume stuff. I did ask ETI for a pic but did not get one. I'm sure they are busy getting ready for the rally.

Can't wait to head out June 11th for pickup run.

Thanks Paul.

Yep, that's a female SAE flare swivel on the appliance end (right side in the photo).

By the way, this hose was built with a 1/4" NPT (tapered pipe thread) female on the trailer end, and converted to male quick connect by screwing in a fitting... a reasonable way to get to what is needed.

That looks to be identical to the hose that came with mine.
