So much for the "too big" idea.

Today it hit 90F, right now it is 87 inside and outside BlackJack, the refer is 41 and freezer is 7 both F, on electric, setting #4 with the exterior fans off. I think I maybe getting better results with the fans off. Also pulled the thermistor down as far as it will go within the holder. Not sure if it needs to be lower or higher, but testing for the right locale.

Today it is 88 inside the trailer, 92 outside, the freezer is at 1 and refer is 38. I do not have the fans on, it is on 120v and the thermistor is just dangling down, out of it's holder, about 2" below the rear fins. I think it likes it there. Time to load up more food and measure the recovery time.

Just had the fridge changed out in my 21 and noticed an empty grommet behind the fridge (inside the outer access panel) next to the one that the propane pipe lives in. Is there supposed to be a drain line in that? I didn't see one anywhere behind the fridge...............

That should be the water drain line. Test it (after confirming the drain hose comes out under the trailer) ours was kinked and didn't drain.

I guess it's for water getting through the vent?? Mine drains now but if that much water gets in there I think I will be in a typhoon?

Yes, it is a drain and I put my refrigerator drain (with hose extension) into it, pictures earlier in this thread or the next one.

It is the drain, one member removed the water catch basin on the back of the fridge and added some tubing to route the condensation to this.

I did that too then thought maybe I should leave it open to drain any water that passes the vent.

Do you think it's there to drain the frig or the space behind the frig IF water passes through the vent?

The way it's caulked, as well as the gas line hole, I'd think it's to drain the area as opposed to just the fridge. Guess as long as there is room for water to get by the hose you'd be fine.
