Have yet to install a fan switch, as expected I did not hear them run, but then I was cruising. Will try the propane on the way home tomorrow, supposed to be hot.

May have found the cause, DW moved the blue ice from the cooler into the freezer as soon as we arrived and before I looked at the temps. Easily could have done it, especially to an almost empty freezer. Sorry for the confusion. Will try the batteries again tomorrow.

A couple of observations discovered today with the double door model, my refrigerator shelf brackets will not work. They do include 3 sets of tabs that are supposed to do the same but..... and no place to hang my interior thermometer.

We use the spring poles Jim, and they work well. Also, we have the exact same thermometer as the last one in your pictures, but so far we haven't had much luck getting the suction cups to keep it stuck in one place.

I took a black bag tie and looped it through the shelf to hang the silver one you have.

Yes the original metal shelves seemed more versatile, but that is progress I guess. Have you checked you fan thermostat on your unit yet, Robert? It seems they have 150 degree set points.

I wast tinkering inside and saw some light underneath the new refer, went to the outside vent and saw the source, a 1/2 inch wide space under the refer, it appears the installer placed 2 shims under the rear, perhaps to squeeze it into the space. Anyway, rather than remove the shims which may cause other issues I sealed the joint in the rear with some buytl tape, rolled into long strings and hand place along the crack. I then went inside and clear caulked the entire bottom seam, no light was visible. Also the door has a cavity, like the single door which I filled with foam. I fished a wire to the inside to move my switch to the interior rather than inside the refer outside cavity. Still awaiting info on the correct thermostat cut on setting from Reace and NGT controls.

I heard back from NGT, the thermostat manufacturer who says he has about 100 of 100/85 degree thermostats but they are $7 each. I thanked him for that info and said the bimetallic units are 10 for $5.00. I also called Mark at Dometic and informed him of the issue with the incorrect setting on the fans he asked was the unit operating as it should and I said "yes, on #5 but would be operating better if the fans came on" he agreed and will look into it. Finally heard back from Reace who was aware of the the incorrect setting and thought Dometic was going to replace the thermostat with a lower one, not as low as 100/85 but closer to 120/110. We shall see as the saga continues to unfold. I'm rewiring my switch to be inside the trailer in lieu of in the outside refer compartment.

Here you go.

Mike,
Have you heard your fans activated? Nice chart, I'll start one this week...
