Maintaining the warranty from the original date is what is typically done with most similar warranties I have dealt with, Carl. In theory they did a fix within the original warranty timelines, which is what they were obligated to do. It sure would be nice to replace something near the end of warranty, then get another full warranty, and repeat.
But, I have been known to be wrong before.
Hopefully you get the full warranty from this point on.
