Does anyone know the specifics on this breaker, is it thermal where it resets once it cools down?

Any idea what the circled wire is for? It's on the battery side of the breaker and before the battery cutoff switch it's always live, it gets lost in the wire bundle.

I had an "always hot" wire like that on another trailer - turned out to be for the propane detector.

Thanks, found the post from last Dec that explains the breaker. As far as what the hot wire is for , I killed all the power and the propane detector shuts down so I'm thinking the brakes but don't know how to easily prove it.

When all else fails, call ETI and tell em it's the one with the yellow crimped connection.

On the Escape 19, the propane sensor is supplied voltage through a fuse in the power distribution panel. It needs to be fused. Trace the wire in question. Does it go to the power distribution panel ?

No, strait from the Reset Breaker, before the kill switch and before the dist panel. I dropped ETI a note on it.

Good thinking. If it is for the breakaway system, it will go to the breakaway switch. To check that, I would check the switch for voltage, disconnect the wire in question, and see if there is still voltage at the switch. I don't know if that qualifies as "easy"...
