Using shore power while the batteries are disconnected

I need to work in the battery compartment in my Escape 21 to replace the solar panel controller, install a B2B charger, etc. The 12V master switch won't help me in this situation, so I wish to disconnect battery power via unhooking a negative cable from the batteries. But I'd still like to have 120V available for a drop light, A/C if needed, etc., while I'm working on the 12V system. Is there any reason why I cannot use shore power with the trailer's batteries disconnected?

My converter still supplies 12V to the fuse panel when the disconnect switch is open. You probably should shut off the converter breaker...
