Westinghouse Generator

I just saw this in a Camping world ad. The combination of higher power and lower price might be interesting to anyone having trouble running an AC from the usual 2,000W igennies.

Westinghouse iPro2500 Portable Inverter Generator, 2200 Running Watts/2500 Peak Watts, Gas Powered, CARB and OSHA Compliant - Westpro Power Systems iPro2500 - Portable Generators - Camping World

There is an interesting uTube video that does an audio comparison with a Honda 2000 and a third unit. The Westinghouse fares very well.

I just order igen2500 from apelectric yesterday for my upcoming camping trip. I will let you know if I can run my ac. Westinghouse WH2400i had many good reviews and people had many success running their 11,000 BTU AC, however, WH2400i had been discontinue and it's successor are now igen2500 and ipro2500. Theoretically, igen and ipro2500 generate 100W more then the older WH2400i with an update 98cc engine, but not as fuel efficient as the older 79cc engine. The new layout and engine update of ipro and igen2500 make them very comparable and as quiet (53decible) with the famous Honda eu2000i but crank out as much power as the YAMAHA 2400. On paper, Westinghouse look great, but only time can tell. Hope this help.

Updated

Just came back from Yellowstone and Dinosaur National Monument, need to run AC during the 2 days with no hook-up at Dinosaur park, iGen2500 worked flawlessly (not in eco-mode) on my 11,500 BTU AC on my 2017 Escape19. I also read on HomeDepot reviews, someone claimed they ran 13,500 BTU AC with iGen2500 and Micro Air Easy Start installed.
