I'm wondering if this is only for the 2nd generation models versus the classics? The 90 degree end should make that connection easier to make.

I shall (hopefully) find out soon as I'm headed up there on or before the 28th, which is when I need to deliver items for our trailer. Tentative appt scheduled for Friday the 23rd. (have to see if my friend can go up that day)
And now that you mention it, the one I tested, I believe, was on the 1st Gen style trailer.

We got that on our trailer that we picked up in June, 2016. So it's not just the 2017 style that get them.

Tammy said they've been using it since Nov 2015. So, that probably was the one I tried, but I don't remember seeing a light on it. Although it was awfully sunny out when I tried it.
Who knows at this point.

Did she mention the model name of the new connector they are using? I am looking for something that I can retrofit into mine. The Furrion one suggested previously in this thread looks good but it is difficult to source in Canada.

Most of the parts used by ETI are purchased in the US, mainly in Elkhart, In where Dave, the delivery person stops on way home and picks up parts for ETI. So the source is most likely a US source.

I did the retrofit. I just had Escape send me the kit. It was an easy conversion.

Most of the retrofit kits come with an adapter plate so you can use it in either a round or squared off hole. In the case of our Furrion kit, the hole is round and the Furrion outlet housing is a rounded square, so no adapter plate will be required.
