I am hoping to find out if any 5.0 TA owners have or tried a Yamaha 2400 tri fuel generator.
Would it run the ac on propane if necessary? The option would be nice to have in case one didn't have easy access to gas. Propane stores so much easier. Or, I would like to know before spending that much money if it wouldn't work for my needs and that I should consider a different generator.

2400 generator
We have the 2400 Yamaha we have run a 8000 btu AC plus water heater and fridge it did everything in our Snoozy I think Ac would be fine the rest could be run on 12volt or propane
2400 watts is generally enough for the air conditioner, so I assume that the concern is that a non-turbocharged engine with a carburettor produces less power than the same engine running on gasoline. Some have reported that a Honda EU2000i can run the air conditioner on gasoline, so it seems reasonable to me to guess that the Yamaha 2400 can do it on propane. Actual experience would be good...
