Not that I use one but GoPower has one you can buy.

7 Pin Trailer Adapter | Go Power!

$27 on Amazon, at least south of the border.

I am so muffled. I would like a portable solar panel but need to finalize build sheet in several days. Should I get an electrical hatch or a zamp solar port. Don't want to be stuck just with the zamp panels and what if they change their system. I do want the portable panel to run through my charge controller. Do I need the hatch to run other things through like future antenna's? I just am not sure have not done this before, would like to be able to have power/signal to my wifi. How is this done? Thanks people and Happy New Year.

I just open the optional passenger storage door. Probably would have gone with the electrical port you mentioned, not the zamp, had it been thought about in 2014. So far I've had no need for a portable, which I now have, as the roof panel does the job. Will find out in the next couple months if it's really needed.

Terry, one thing to consider is just trying out your setup with the installed solar and see if you really will require an additional panel. Adding a port in the future is always a possibility that is probably within most folks abilities if you are comfortable with that.

Does the zamp electrical port and the SAE RV connector by solarseller.com do the same thing? Would it be better to have an electrical hatch installed or a SAE connector put in the side of the trailer?

Terry, I would think a lot would depend on if you only want a plug/port in for solar, or plan to put more cables thru. Folks who want to run multiple cables from a TV antenna, WIFI booster, cell booster etc tend to look toward a hatch as more than one cable can then be passed thru. If only for additional solar, were it me, I would go with a plug/port as they can be very small and easily sealed.

I talked with someone from Renogry yesterday about the foldable 100 w no controller. He said I could add the extension cord and a 10" adapter that has the MC4 at one end and the SA e adapter on the other to connect to my zamp port.
