I don't think you could just ask to get off and continue on another day but it never hurts to ask. We bought a ticket for the Haines-Juneau leg. Then we bought a ticket for the Juneau-Prince Rupert leg. They load you (shudder) according to your destination so I expect a person would have to buy individual tickets for each leg. Don't know if the total would be more for the same final destination or not.
