Here’s the evidence that five Escapes made it to the Baja beach!

We had a lot of fun.

Priceless. Looks like an Escape calendar cover shot if I’ve ever seen one.

Warm enough that when Jim, Dave and Chris fell off Michele's SUP they survived. Photos when we're home. We were swimming a couple of times. Cold winds this year, not as warm as previously.

Yup, Baja 2020, probably. Although I'm worried, Michele's been dropping comments that it may be with a new Escape! That would be OK with me, more mods to do.

Just remind her that Jim's interior is custom made by him. Not all 5.0TA's look like that.

Brought my wife to Chilliwack after camping next to Jim at last year's rally to see a standard 5.0TA and she still went for it. We pick it up end of April.

Don't know how many ETI trailers Baja Beach can hold. But might need to hold a lottery to see who can go in 2020 because of all the interest

Hey! I wobbled a lot, but never fell. Either did David, he did quite well compared to me.

The water was fine for swimming, not tropical, but warm enough and was lots of fun.

Did anyone visit the Eiffle church in Santa Rosalita? It is worth a visit.

We did. It was very interesting, much different than most other Mexican churches.

Well, we were on the beach with a new 19 and 21 as well as Jim's 5.0TA. I won't say yet which one really caught her eye. Time will tell.

I'm not too worried about the custom interior part. I've already started a list of what I would need omitted from the standard build to want to go ahead with the purchase of a new unit.

We had a couple of great days beside the East side of the Salton Sea. 8 buck campsite and nice showers for under a buck and the nicest weather of the whole trip. Always meant to check it out but never made the time.

Also scored the last available campsite in Joshua Tree. Pretty interesting and also a place that we'd been by every which way but never took the time to do the park.

Not too far from Palmdale. I've booked a glider for two hours tomorrow but the weather is iffy. Too much wind to fly today.

Then the long grind home to the frozen North.

Not sure quite what to have expected and going inside it was obvious that it was designed by Gustave Eiffel. What we hadn’t realized was that it was prefabricated and then shipped to Santa Rosalía. Quite the church with the metal walls, quite different than the typical Mexican mission church.

We were quite disappointed with the “famous” French bakery up the street, the churros were not fresh and were overpriced.

Maybe the problem is that if it's a French bakery (pâtisserie), they should be beignets, not churros.
