To cross the border into Canada? Cross at Sumas. You'll only be about 30 minutes from ETI. Sumas is where your trailer will be imported into the US too.

Or maybe I misunderstood the question...

Sumas will be real smooth. Both US and Canadian officers are pretty aware of American ETI customers.

If I recall, might have them mixed up, but I think Sumas was 24 hr. The next crossing West by Lynden, did close around midnight and we just made that one the night we came back from Victoria.

too bad we can't tow our trailers down there, because we would hardly make it past Mexico so much crime it's a shame and I even speak Spanish. I have been there 5 times and love Quepos and Montezuma.

If you're going to Chilliwack from Florida, you can take a route where you will cross the border at Osoyoos and take highway 3 West. It's beautiful country and will allow you to miss Seattle on one of the legs of your trip. Rush hour traffic seems to be an ongoing occurrence around there. Loren

Just be aware that if you cross into Canada at Osoyoos and it is still winter/early spring time that there will still be snow in the mountains along Highway 3 from Princeton to Hope BC. It is a good highway and well maintained but need to watch the weather for possible new snowfall. Summer/fall season no concerns with snow.

It is a beautiful drive though.

Since John mentioned mountain passes, here is a quick link to the BC Drive (highway conditions) page for those interested:

I commented on this in another thread. Coming back through Seattle with the new trailer, I found myself more than once in the wrong lane and had to get over. Every time I signaled to change lanes, someone let me in. And I was expecting no quarter to be given. Loren
