BlackJack got a bath today

and a coat of wax in anticipation of attending the Osoyoos rally. In addition new Andersen w/d setup was installed. Going to turn on the refer tomorrow and start chilling down the food. Clothes are packed and the "to do lists" are being checked off. Nine more days to lift off….

Vey exciting! I am green with envy. Maybe someday there will be an Escape convoy heading west to the rally ...

Jim, I saw some of your mods in Townsend and really loved the LED red night light you put in the bathroom light. Are you willing to share the plans?

Sure, I got some of these Amazon.com: Qty 10- LED Lights- 5mm pre wired 12 volt leds- 12V Red: Automotive and drilled the exact sized hole in the light side facing the front of the bath, you can also point it down, install the light and just push the wires into the factory splice, put some putty tape to hold and done. If you want to add a switch, I use these Amazon.com: Install Bay Toggle Switch Mini with 20 Inch Leads On and Off 5 Bag- IBMTS: Car Electronics
I installed several of these to find the lights at night without turning on the overheads, some with switches some without. The draw is so minimal, less than the propane detector. Again with the switch you will need to wire the switch to the positive lead. You can splice or try the
stick the wire into the compressed wire joint and stick some butyl tape to hold, your choice.

Re: "the draw is so minimal."

We leave ours on all night every night, when dry camping or not. The perfect night light.
