Im starting to feel like somewhere in all my years backpacking, and now trailering I have missed a big part of the experience. Ive looked back through thousands of photos and do not have a single toilet photo to share.

Roper Lake State Park

South of Safford, AZ, north of I-10. Not free camping and likely busy on weekends but I happened on this beautiful park when I needed to wait out some weather. I spent two nights. Amazing birds and the lake is a quiet fishing spot (no power boats).

Greetings Marsh,
I have stayed at the following places on this route.
River Breeze Resort LLC, Ehrenberg AZ. Full Hookups.
Lost Dutchman State Park (east of Phoenix, AZ). Water and Elec, Dump Station
Apache Junction KOA (east of Phoenix, AZ), full hookups
Catalina State Park (near Tuscon, AZ), Water and Elec, Dump Station
Las Cruces KOA (west side of Las Cruces, NM), full hookups
Balmorea State Park, (near Balmorea, Tx) Water and Elec, Dump Station
Fort Stockton RV Park (east of Fort Stockton, Tx) Full hookups.

These are not boon docking or free sites, but I would do them again.

Enjoy your E21 and Safe Travels,
Ken

So few people remember! Always been a big Orson Welles, Joseph Cotten fan.

We can recommend Leasburg Dam State Park just north of Las Cruces, NM for an overnight stay. Easy to access. Sites have water and electric with dump station nearby.
