Thinking about some favorite moments in Canada and I remember going to Jasper a few years ago from Edmonton. We saw this zipline place and my son said "yeah!" and my daughter wouldn't get out of the car. Guess who did it twice. Unlike any other zipline that's for sure, feels like you are flying. Not my family in video, but it could be!

I've been on a zip line... TOTALLY COOL! I've also jumped out of a perfectly running airplane. Go figure?! Live large or go home.

We have driven past that zipline outfit numerous times, but have never stopped. Good that you had a blast.

My favorite Canadian experience was skiing/surviving some insanely steep couloirs at Whistler a few years ago. Amazing that it was in bounds, you have to break a few laws to ski stuff like that in Colorado.

My first real tent camping experience was in Canada. My girlfriend and I had just graduated from high school and wanted to take a trip wo the parental units. My friend borrowed her father's old army surplus tent (heavy canvas), we took the backseat out of my little car (Pinto), and loaded it up with 'camping stuff'. Food consisted of red sauced based things you could buy in cans (e.g. spaghettios). We drove from Detroit to outside of Toronto and setup in a nice provincial park. We then went to town and had a lot of fun! Went to some amusement park right on the lakefront, went to some huge island park that required a boat ride. Being nerd-like we spent a rainy day at the newly opened Toronto Science Museum. That museum was fantastic, lots of hands-on stuff AND we just happened to be there when Queen Elizabeth came to dedicate the museum. Being Americans we only had a vague sense of who she was but we saw all these uniformed people and then there she was--20 feet from us. Looking back I'm amazed they didn't kick us out of there. We were glad they didn't, it was raining hard and that tent leaked in every corner!

Yes, if it is white someone has probably skied it at Whistler/Blackcomb. Skiing Whistler/Blackcomb and bike riding are 2 of my favorite experiences. Getting too old for the really steep stuff though. Activities both Canada and the USA have a lot of.

P.S. New 8 seat gondola cars going on the Whistler Village Gondola ready for 2014/15 season. No more standing, yeah!
