Thanks everyone for the great responses!

Dave - Good recommendation for Oliver Lee State Park. We visited White Sands several years ago and hope to stop there again on this trip.
Charlie - You're right, Pioneer Village has an astounding collection of most everything. Haven't been there for a number of years (we're native Nebraskans) and you reminded me it's worth another stop.
Don - We plan to visit Crater Lake when we are in the Diamond Lake area of Umpqua National Forest (as well as the many waterfalls along the Umpqua River). Right now it looks like we'll be at Lassen National Park maybe a week before you but our schedule is pretty soft so may see you there. Have visited Zion and the North Rim of the Grand Canyon several times so we're skipping those this time around.
Bruce - Thanks for the tip on Hwy 97. We did the Hwy 101 route from the top of Washington to San Luis Obispo after we picked up our Escape in early 2014. Great trip.
Lotar & Wendy -We made a "drive-thru" visit to Valley of Fire, including the route to Henderson from the park, several years ago. Looking forward to camping in the park this year and spending more time in the area. Thanks for the tip about the Virgin River campground, looks like a good stop after leaving Valley of Fire.
Doug - Really appreciate the feedback on SR 123 and the campground in Rainier.
RvOmaha - Was planning on staying in one of the community park campgrounds but a little worried about damage from the major flooding earlier this year. Decided to driveway camp with family instead. We've been to the Homestead National Monument numerous times - great place.
Bob - Thanks for the alternative to Deadhorse State Park.

Connecting the dots, continued

We’re just completing the first third of Escapin’ #4. We’ve had hot weather, cold weather, windy weather, and a little bit of smoky skies for a few days in Oregon. Considering where we have traveled so far, probably nothing out of the ordinary for this time of the year.
Escape sightings? - Still waiting on our 1st. But, we’ve given tours of our Escape most everyplace we’ve stopped, including a few parking lots!
The Escape systems have been working fine and we’ve had no issues with power, cooling, heating, refrigeration, or anything else.
We are enjoying the journey in our tiny house on wheels.

Near Eugene, Oregon

Soon will be headed south towards Arizona and then points east.
Our “planned / reserved” stops are behind us and we’re looking forward to the less structured part of this trip.

As always, Cheryl has been taking many photos to record our travels and posting them to her website.
