?good places to camp between Chilliwack and Osoyoos

What parks or camping grounds do you guys recommend between Chilliwack and Osoyoos. We are picking up our trailer about 4 days before the Appreciation Rally and would like a beautiful place to stay inbetween. With or without hookups.

I'd just spend the entire time at Osoyoos, it is so beautiful. There is a provincial park in the town by the lake other than the Nk Mip one

There's so much to do around Osoyoos, I agree with Jim. Once people start showing up for the rally, you might not want to leave the park because you want to visit with people you may never have a chance to meet again.

We are getting to Osoyoos on Monday and will stay a week so we wanted to see some other place before we get there.

Manning Park is on the way to Osoyoos on Highway 3. It has many campgrounds. Google Camping in BC.

There is a large provincial park between Chilliwack and Osoyoos called Manning Park. It has several campgrounds, generally no hookups, lots of trails and a great drive up a mountain with views over several valleys. Here is a link E. C. Manning Provincial Park - BC Parks

There are several sites within Manning Park. My buddy often stays at Lightening Lakes.
I've stopped overnight at Princeton Municipal RV Park which has services. It is between a river and the highway, with industrial noise, but convenient for dumping tanks.

I looked into the Manning Parks, but hubby and I have decided maybe we had better stick with hook ups after all and are looking at RV campgrounds along the way. Thanks for the info. Maybe by next year we will be more brave.

Many people will be arriving earlier than Thursday, we normally get there on Tuesday and there are already folks there. You will really like the place and the campground and meeting other Escapees. The town is really quaint, nice Hardware Store as well as local food in the IGA store. The cg has several attractions itself, so you will be busy the whole week, enjoy and post pictures for those who will not be there....

Don't be concerned about staying at the BC Provincial Campgrounds. Although they generally do not have hookups, they are great places to camp. Other than Manning Park, the other campgrounds are near small towns.
Other campgrounds to check out include:
Stemwinder near Hedley, an old mining town. Right off the highway but alongside the Similkameen River.
Bromley Rock near Princeton. right close to the highway and Similkameen River

There are also a couple commercial RV parks with full hookups very near Stemwinder.

I will head there post-delivery and driver training (!!) on May 23. I plan on playing with all of my new toys, practicing backing-up and hitching and unhitching.
