How many nights on the road in 2015?

I just did a review of our 2015 camping.

This year we've been camping 19 nights on three different trips. We've travelled 1825 kilometres / 1134 miles.

We have another trip planned for early September - 10 nights out. Planning for Oliver, BC for wine touring then further east to Nelson area - Kokanee Creek Provincial CG. (fire situation permitting).

I work full-time (planning/hoping to retire April 1 2016) Liz is retired.

I'm curious about others in our Escape family. How many nights on the road so far? It would be good to know if you were retired or still working.

Larry

(I've been keeping a log where I make notes about CGs, routes, little notes about what we liked and what we might want to do (but didn't) next time through the same area)

We picked up our 21 on February 24 of this year. When we leave Mountain Valley RV Resort in Heber City, Utah on September 16, we will have spent 169 nights in our very cool trailer. I suspect we'll have about 180 nights when the year ends. Good times.

Hi, Jeff and Karen. I've got family near Heber City. Do you recommend the RV Resort?

How many nights on the road in 2015?

Since picking up our new trailer on May 20 we have spent 45 days and about 8000 km on the road. Travelled from our home in Kamloops BC as far as Fargo ND.
Leave for a 6 week trip to Oregon and California next week.

I was already retired. We picked up our new Escape 19 three days after my wife's retirement party.

I'm ashamed to admit Gonzo th' Dawg and I have pulled "Escaping Reality" only 2,689 miles and spent just 20 wonderful nights since picking her up February 4th. Depending on the fires and air quality I'll be meeting a son, grandchildren and great-grandchildren at Farragut SP in Idaho for a week starting the 30th. I'm retired and have to search for excuses for not being on the road more.

It's the nicest RV park we've stayed in to date - the only 10-10-10 park in Utah. It's only two years old, the management is extraordinary, and Heber is a jumping off point for many fun outdoor activities (concerts in parks, fishing blue ribbon rivers and mountain lakes, bicycling, hiking, cave tours, a rodeo, Swiss Days, the biggest sheepdog trials in America - the list goes on and on). We think Mountain Valley RV Resort in Heber City is a hidden gem.

Nights on the road Larry? 180 so far this year. Unfortunately, only 42 of those were camping nights.

DW still works, at least for a few more weeks. So far this year only 12 nights. Leave Sept 11th for a 60 day trip to CO and UT.

Ah that sounds great. Will look into it. I'm thinking of traveling with my elderly mom, to visit family.

84 nights. I've cut my trip to the Alaska & West short and am back in Oswego, NY. I hope to get more trailer time between now & the end of the year.

To date in 2015 - 85 nights, 6,702 miles.
We're currently in the midst of another adventure and expect to add 73 more nights and 5,600 more miles to that total before we get back home.
If all goes as planned, the final numbers for 2015 will be 158 nights and 12,302 miles.
Yes, we are retired.

Toto has traveled 4095 miles so far this year over 43 nights. More to come! Sooz is retired, I'm working part-time (including during our trips) and Tyler and Wally continue their lifelong retirement. Shoot, I just realize it's time to adjust the brakes again.

We have spent 185 nights in our 19 since May of 2012. This year we have spent 37 of those nights on a trip to Arizona and short local trips. The trailer is now winterized and stored. We will miss it but it will have the company of it's siblings at ETI. We will be overseas for the next 3 months so no more camping nights this year.

Jon. Since you are back home early, will we see you at the Niagara Wine Escape?

~50 or so.... Trip down to Palm Springs/Laughlin/Vegas, stopped and soaked in a few hot springs on the way down. Back down to Boise for a conference, then the rest all work related, twice to McMurray, north of Slave Lake around Loon River. One tire wearing so I had an alignment done. Hit a bump or something that caused the fridge door to pop open, so fixed the hinge, all minor. Will be doing a few mods this fall.
