Internet access in the U.S. via wireless broadband card
Good Day,
There is a thread on this back in 2009, but I wonder if anyone has an update, or has researched or experienced: which company has the best, fastest, cheapest roaming internet coverage in the U.S.? We use Telus in Canada, but their U.S. rates look expensive.
Any info much appreciated!

From my reading, a lot of travel forums like Verizon for the most comprehensive service in the areas they travel. A third party can sometimes offer more GB a month. Millenicom piggybacks on Verizon and Sprint. Sprint coverage is poorer than Verizon.

I've been using the Millenicom 3G 20GB per month plan ($59.99 with all taxes, fees, etc) for over a year & have been happy with it. While they no longer advertise it, if you call them and they have a supply of the USB modems they use with the plan, it may still be available. It runs on the Verizon network.
