January Camping in Washington State

The weather forecast predicted a few days of reasonable weather so we took off for a few days of camping at Bay View State Park, near Mount Vernon, WA. We made side trips to Port Townsend and La Conner and found lots to see and enjoy.

The upper loop at Bay View State Park has water and power and there was lots of space.

No need to wait until spring! Camp now!

An inspiration. Might just have to go someplace.

The weather in the Pacific NorthWET has been very, very unusual since last Fall. Portland is more than 10 inches behind in rain (since Oct 1). Our mountain doesn't have much snow. I have to agree with Brian though... it's been beautiful and if I could, I'd be out camping too!

Who would ever think you'd need sunglasses, on a nearly daily basis... in Portland... in JANUARY
